Tony Lama has been making belts and boots in El Paso, Texas since 1911. The floral tooled pattern is their signature dress belt, vegetable-tanned leather with an embossed floral design that develops character over years of wear. The brass-finished buckle is rope-edged, which is the correct western detail for a belt at this price point.
We put this belt through six months of daily use in our Western belt review, ranch chores, office wear, travel, and one horseback trip in the Bighorns. At month six the leather had darkened a quarter-shade, the floral pattern had become more pronounced, and the edge finish was holding. Solid value for the dressier end of the rotation.
Sizing note: Western belts size to the hole you use. Add 2 inches to your standard pant waist. So a 34-inch waist takes a 36. If between sizes, go up, you can punch an additional hole, you can’t make a belt longer.
