This policy covers wyomingtradingpost.com (the "site"). It explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. Plain English, not lawyer English.

What we collect

  • Order information. Name, shipping address, email, phone (optional), items ordered. Required to fulfill the order.
  • Payment information. Handled entirely by our checkout processor. We never see or store your card number.
  • Newsletter signups. Email only, stored with our email service provider.
  • Contact-form submissions. Whatever you put in the form, plus your email so we can reply.
  • Analytics. Anonymous, aggregated page-view data via Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting. Optionally Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization enabled.

What we don't collect

  • No Facebook Pixel or Meta advertising IDs.
  • No third-party ad cookies.
  • No behavioral retargeting.
  • No session replay or heatmap tools.

How we use it

Order data goes to the fulfillment and shipping systems needed to ship your package. Email newsletter lists are used only to send the newsletter you signed up for — we don't sell or rent them. Analytics data is used to figure out which articles people actually read and which products get viewed.

How long we keep it

  • Order records: 7 years (tax / accounting compliance).
  • Newsletter email list: until you unsubscribe. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • Contact form messages: purged after 12 months unless an active case is open.
  • Analytics: aggregated, 14-month retention.

Your rights

Under GDPR (if you're in the EU/UK) and CCPA (if you're a California resident), you can request a copy of the personal data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@wyomingtradingpost.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We respond inside 30 days.

Cookies

We use a small number of strictly functional cookies (cart state, theme preference, consent record). We do not set any cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes

We update this page when policy changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
