Do you sell the gear you write about?

No. Wyoming Trading Post doesn't stock or ship anything. Product links go to retailers, mostly Amazon, and some of those links pay us a commission when you buy. The price you pay is the same either way.

Do you write sponsored content?

No. We don't accept paid placement or brand sponsorship. Articles that contain affiliate links carry a disclosure, and the disclosure page explains how the commissions work.

How should I care for good leather?

Condition every 3-6 months with a neatsfoot-oil or beeswax-based conditioner. No petroleum distillates, no mink oil on vegetable-tanned leather. Dry slowly away from heat if it gets wet. Full walk-through in the leather care guide.

Where do I buy hand-made leather goods?

From the maker. The guides name small makers and Western shops where a piece is sold direct, and link to retailers for mass-produced gear.
